Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the first woman to have ever won the two CrossFit Games. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. In addition, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area together with her parents and siblings. Being a sports and working out enthusiast from a young age she participated in numerous school competitions and won several medals. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years old (as as of 2021). She stands 5'7 tall and her weight is around 67 kilograms. Annie started CrossFit in California, in 2009. Annie did very well in her initial competitions, placing with the top 10. However, she was unable to make it to the top of this tournament and she ended the tournament with a score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. The following year she was a participant at CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performance. She became the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie has an impressive performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to be crowned the winner of each of the CrossFit Games. In 2014, she received a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded a bronze. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has gained fame for her athletic abilities is featured in ads for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs as well as many more. She also has her own Youtube channel called "Annie" and has more than 1,000 subscribers. This is where she uploads videos about the diet of her training, life with family as well as travel.
