Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is the first woman ever to win twice in CrossFit Games. In 2010, she placed in second place. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity TV personality. The first female winner of in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik together with her parents and siblings. She was a keen sportsperson and began working out at an early age. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as at 2021). Her height is around 5'7 and her weight approximately about 67 kgs. Annie started CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. In the initial games she did very well and finished in the top 10 among 70. She was not able to claim any titles but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in seconds place and won an Olympic silver medal that same year. Following a long period in CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment earned her the title. Annie was the first woman to ever win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In 2014, she also took home a gold. And in 2021, she won a bronze. Presently, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie is a model of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae, among other brands. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is called "Annie", with over 1000 subscribers. This is where she shares videos about the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
