Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actress. She sings as well. Her mother raised her in the USA and she was subject to several racial stereotypes, which caused her to feel as a non-person. When she attended a 9th grade school audition where she was praised for her voice as she built confidence. Not only did it boost her confidence but her ambitions transformed. In the year 22 she received her degree from in the Julliard School of New York. When she was 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both her big breakthroughs. However her greatest breakthrough came when she appeared in the part of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway show Spamalot winning not just the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC the show, she received more appreciation. An accomplished singer, she's also produced a single as well as an extended piece. Also, she's spoken out in support of LGBT issues.
